CLARKS SUMMIT, Aug. 15, 2023 —  Duvall Leather proudly announces its second retail location in Clarks Summit, Lackawanna County. The store will open at 320 S. State St. in early September with a formal grand opening celebration planned for Sept. 15 and 16. Founder and owner Nick Duvall says, “I’m thrilled to now be a part of the downtown Clarks Summit business scene. It’s a beautiful community offering a thriving business culture. We’re excited to open our doors to the Abingtons.”

The grand opening will take place over two days featuring a ribbon cutting, special treats, and the opportunity for shoppers who attend at any point over the two-day event to win $250 in store credit. After founding the company in 2005 in Kingston, Duvall expanded operations with an artisans’ workshop in Hanover Township in 2021, which created more than a dozen new jobs. Duvall says that the new Clarks Summit store will add an additional two to three jobs. “I’m passionate about my employees and am grateful for their daily efforts as we continue to grow.”

At Duvall Leather, designers and artisans make fine leather goods — personal accessories for men and women, including belts, wallets and bags. Using leather sources from the finest tanneries, all products are proudly hand-made in their Pennsylvania shop. They’re durable for everyday use, yet uniquely elegant for a lasting impression. The Clarks Summit store will bring these unique products to Lackawanna County. Duvall continues, “Our products are unmatched in quality, and last longer than you might expect. We don’t outsource one single element of our production process.”
