The quality of this belt is immediately apparent once it’s held in the hand. It’s well constructed of thick, chocolate-colored leather, and its silky smooth hand belies its strength and utility; I haven not tested it yet, but I do not doubt that it would handle a sidearm holster with authority.
If you order the belt according to your jeans size per the website’s instructions, the belt will fit perfectly with some room to accommodate a larger circumference should you gain a few or if you need to use it with heavier pants and a base layer.
I did notice a couple areas on the finished (outer-facing) surface of the belt that had some darker dabs of brown–like it had been touched up. I imagine this is a result of the tanning process and that with age, will only add to the character of the belt.
In short, you will find more expensive belts out there, but not better ones. I am very pleased with Duvall’s work and will be returning for more of the company’s carefully-made, fairly-priced products.

The belt is definitely high quality. I appreciate the craftmanship of the leather and quality of the buckle. I thought it was interesting that they give you plenty of holes, but where the belt fits is just like in the picture, with one larger hole than what is comfortable for your waist site, with plenty of smaller pant size holes. Overall worth the investment.

Great quality and feel. Conforming and comfortable around the waste unlike most belts that bend oddly in the front and back which can be uncomfortable. Very forgiving around the hips as well. The buckle was a brighter golden color than I was expecting but it has grown on me to the point that I might have knowingly chose it.
